Shukar hai Terms and Conditions
Nature of the Platform & Legal Status
Shukar Hai (the “Company”) is a private social enterprise and a service-based business. We provide a professional platform and logistical coordination to facilitate “good deeds” and social impact activities on behalf of our users. By using this website, you acknowledge that you are purchasing a managed service.
Service Fees & Pricing
All prices listed on our platform (including “Dawat in a Box” and Aqeeqah) represent a Total Service Fee. This fee includes:
- The direct cost of goods or supplies.
- Logistical, transport, and distribution costs.
- A service charge for the professional management, verification, and facilitation of the deed.
- Any applicable local taxes.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing without prior notice due to fluctuations in market costs for goods or logistics.
Project Pooling & Execution
Discretionary Allocation: We ensure that funds are used for the intent described. However, the Company maintains final discretion on the specific timing and selection of recipients to ensure the most effective use of resources.
Verification: Impact reports (photos/videos) are provided as a courtesy and do not constitute a legal guarantee of a specific individual recipient.
Finality of Transactions (Refund Policy)
Due to the nature of our services, which involve the immediate procurement of perishable goods (food) or the direct allocation of resources to families in need, all service purchases are final and non-refundable. Once a transaction is processed, the commitment to the service is immediate.
Limitation of Liability
Shukar Hai acts as your agent in executing social impact. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or the delivery of services. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service purchase.
Force Majeure
Shukar Hai shall not be held responsible for delays or failure to execute a service due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: civil unrest, strikes, floods, pandemics, or government-imposed restrictions. In such cases, we will execute the service as soon as conditions reasonably allow.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Amicable Settlement: In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt an informal, amicable resolution.
Jurisdiction: If an agreement cannot be reached, the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Karachi (or your specific city).
Updates to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.
